Daftar Lagu Barat - Love Song - Tahun 70-an

Kali ini saya ajak anda bernostalgia dengan daftar lagu-lagu barat pilihan romantis populer (love-song) dari era tahun 70-an. Ada yg salalu ingin disampaikan bahwa pada dasarnya lagu tidak punya masa expired atau batasan kadaluarsa,  zaman atau era boleh saja berubah  tapi lagu tetap bisa tampil dan exis untuk dikenang. Walaupun saya berasal dari generasi 80-an, tapi bagi saya pribadi, lagu-lagu 70-an punya kharisma ‘tersendiri’ yang tak bisa ditandingi dengan era masa sesudahnya.

Dari pengalaman dan dari apa yang masih saya ingat dimasa lalu, ‘tembang  kenangan’  penuh dengan lagu-lagu model easy listening yang muncul dari penyanyi seperti : Engelbert Humperdinck, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Paul Anka, Johnny Mathis,  Perry Como,  Andy Williams, Eric Carmen, Leo Sayer serta yang lain  hingga balad romantis semodel milik, Bee Gees, Carpeters, ABBA, Elton John ataupun seperti Bread. Selain itu, lagu-lagu kenangan juga muncul dari penyanyi yang dikategorikan kedalam pop-R&B berikut soul yang mana terkadang terdengar ngebeat,  woo-doop atau menjurus gospel. Namun yang sangat spesifik buat saya adalah banyaknya lagu-lagu nostalgia apik yang kental dengan nuasa folk ataupun bernafas country, yang datang dari sederet penyanyi seperti :  Harry Chapin, Don Mclean, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, Leon Russell, Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Rogers,  Dolly Parton, Anne Murray, Lobo, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond,  Jennifer Warnes dan lain sebagainya.

Jika kita perhatikan -tentang lagu-,  apa yang selalu menjadi ciri khas dari setiap generasi? adalah lagu-lagu cover yang selalu muncul terangkat kepermukaan dari era yang sama ataupun era sebelumnya, dan lagu cover bisa jadi adalah jurus yang ampuh untuk ‘mengingatkan kembali’ lagu-lagu yang dulunya pernah dinikmati namun nyaris terlupakan. Mungkin salah satunya buat anda adalah balad 'Saving All My Love For You' yang dibawakan kembali  oleh Whitney Houston di era 80-an. Jika anda di tahun 90-an, bisa saja anda telah melupakan ‘Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me’ sampai kemudian anda benar-benar nge-‘thrill’ manakala Gloria Estefen membawakannya kembali ditahun 1994, atau anda dimasa kini yang lupa dengan cadasnya Blood, Sweat & Tears dan secara tiba-tiba tersadar saat menyaksikan Amy Winehouse kembali ‘mendaur’ I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know.
